keeping toddlers warm at night (Read 8955 times)

Jram YaBB Newbies Offline I Love YaBB 2! Posts: 6	keeping toddlers warm at night Nov 25^th, 2008, 10:35am My son likes to toss and turn at night, and it's difficult to keep a warm blanket on him. Aside from putting a space heater in the room - which is a bit frightening to me - what other methods can I try? Thanks

Posts: 5	Re: keeping toddlers warm at night Reply #1 - Nov 25^th, 2008, 10:56am My daughter did/does the same (she's now a teenager) and the advice I got was to put her in warm jammies and socks. f they kick off the blankets - they, like you - are too hot. If they're cold, they will snuggle. Worked for me - she even took her socks off when she got too hot

How old is your son? My daughter is the same so I leave a few layers on the bed. She is 2 1/2 and will take the blankets off if need be or pull them back on top. She is also a lot warmer than myself - when I'm cold she is often still quite warm, so i have found that when it comes to temperature we have very different needs... the fun will start when she can reach the thermostat.

I solved this problem in a very easy way for my niece who is now 3 years old. I just bought the sleeper blanket pajamas with attached footies. I always bought them a little larger than she needed and she slept snug as a bug all winter long.
